JEDL

JEDL is a highly-acclaimed Czech theater company. Its activity began in 2011, as a result of a long-standing partnership between director Jan Nebeský and actors Lucie Trmíková and David Prachař, who have been working together for more than thirty years. JEDL stages original, alternative and independent shows and is driven by the involvement of creators and performers from different fields of art: theater, dance, music and visual arts. The dramaturgy is inspired by two basic pillars: transcendence in the sense of going beyond and experiment in the sense of connecting. JEDL’s work is characterized by originality and high professional rigour.
