Royal Ballet of Flanders

Ballet Vlaanderen is a dance company based in Antwerp, Belgium, founded in 1969 by Belgian choreographer Jeanne Brabants. Specializing in classical, neoclassical and contemporary dance, it welcomes a wide range of dancers and challenges borders through its diverse repertoire. Ballet Vlaanderen has been awarded ‘Best Foreign Dance Company’ and ‘Outstanding Achievement in Dance’ by Critics’ Circle National Dance Awards in 2009, ‘Outstanding Company’ by National Dance Awards in 2013 and ‘Company of the Year’ by Dance Europe Critics Awards in 2015. Ballet Vlaanderen is a beloved guest at internationally established festivals, art centers and opera houses.
