Varta Theater

The Varta Theater was born only a month after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, counting an ensemble of 16 actors from all over Ukraine and staging its premiere play, "The First Day of War". This performance officially debuted the theater company and gave the irrefutable slogan, “Guarding Culture“. After the premiere, the theater was divided into two teams: the first team started working on a documentary play titled "February" presenting recent events in Ukraine, and the second team consists of puppetry students from Kharkiv, who work on puppet shows for children.
