Stories from Oblivion
Director and puppet designer Duda Paiva takes audiences on a unique journey to ancient Slavic mythology. The distinctive sponge puppets, hallmark of Paiva's animation art, come to life on stage, depicting mythological creatures. They evoke laughter, but sometimes even fear! Baba, the Hags and even the Clown appear as if they were living creatures. The performance is a great opportunity for adults to recall Slavic myths, and for children to learn about and remember them in a unique way.
