"Rainbow" State Puppet Theater
The "Rainbow" State Puppet Theater was founded in 1946 by Elzbieta and Tadeusz Czaplinski. In 1966, it evolved from a family-owned, private traveling theater to the status of a state theater. The institution prides itself on its place in the history of animation scenes in Poland - as the organizer of scientific sessions on the subject, as well as many exhibitions of stage design and competitions. It is the oldest cultural institution in Central Pomerania and one of the oldest puppet theaters in the country. Throughout its history, "Rainbow" has accumulated a number of prestigious awards, securing its place at the forefront of animation stages.
