Ivan Trojan
One of the most famous Czech actors of the present day, widely appreciated by audiences for his believable, civil expression with a touch of subtle comedy. Since 1997, his home stage has been the Dejvice Theater. His first role was as Professor Maillard in the adaptation of the short story E. A. A. Poe's The Soothing Method, followed by The Heyman in Gogol's The Reviser and his first nomination for the Thalia Award. He is a seven-time winner of the Czech Lion, including five times for Best Actor in a Leading Role - most recently for his role as the controversial healer Jan Mikulášek in The Charlatan.
